Novo single e video do Mourah, Tightrope Walker

Depois do sucesso critico de Kardia (o seu ultimo álbum em data) que lhe valeu um Swiss Live Talents Award, o Mourah regressa com este novo single, revelando a sua faceta mais pop ao publico. Decorrendo duma experiencia pessoal, Tightrope Walker aborda o tema da OBE (Out of Body Experience), mais comummente conhecido por viagem astral. Que uma pessoa acredite ou não nos estados modificados de consciência , o que é aqui questionado é mesmo a noção da realidade e dos sonhos, da temporalidade. O texto é entregue pela voz tão única do Mourah, tanto profunda e aérea, como potente e suave. O tema, composto, produzido e arranjado por ele próprio, não esconde as suas influencias encontradas no Prince, tal uma homenagem ao seu pai musical, ao vestir a composição musical num estilo sonoro retro que evoca uma pop-funk empolgante dos anos 80 sabiamente desenvolvida pelo pequeno génio de Minneapolis. 

Na espera do seu próximo disco - Silk Armour - (Setembro 2018) e que levara o seu auditor num universo mais alternativo e iconoclasta, é com um verdadeiro prazer não dissimulado que ouvimos esta pequena alegoria pop, bem mais densa do que ela parece à partida. 

O teledisco foi realizado pela sempre irrequieta Mei Fa Tan, cineasta cada vez mais incontornável no panorama audiovisual suíço. Pela segunda vez os dois artistas decidem trabalhar juntos. De facto, o Mourah tinha vencido o Music Video Contest (concurso criado pela Mei Fa Tan e organizado com o apoio do festival Les Hivernales) pelo qual ela realizou o teledisco No Sour Days. Tightrope Walker oferece um cenário mais minimalista e contemplativo para deixar espaço a um onirismo sóbrio e eficaz. Distribuido pela AWAL. Sob o label Whirlybird Seeds.

O single será apresentado no dia 23 de Janeiro (3^a feira)
